This is the website giving up to date information on the activities of Huyton Swimming Club, a long established club that specialises in teaching children to swim as well as lifesaving skills.
The Club currently has around 60 members ranging from beginners to confident swimmers.
The club is run on a purely voluntary basis with fully qualified coaches giving up their own time to pass on their skills to the members.
The Beginners Group has two sessions, the first starting at 5pm, the second starting at 5:30pm. These groups will give your child the basic skills to start swimming.
Once your child is swimming confidently they will move up to the big pool. These groups will work on making your child a strong and confident swimmer.
Huyton Swimming Club will also concentrate on teaching your child to learn the skills in water safety and gain qualifications in life saving.

The 2016 Huyton Swimming Club Gala took place on 13th November 2016 with all the members of the club taking part in races for their age group.
A total of 51 events saw all of the children competing, from the beginners completing 25 metres through to the older categories completing the 4x 50 metre medley (a tough combination of all strokes).
A big thank you to all who took part and a very big thank you to all of those that organise the event each year and help with all of the organisation at poolside. It simply wouldnt be possible without all of their help and organisation. Niki gets the top mention after winning the Coach of the year award this year (see photo) but many others work hard throughout the year making it all possible
The raffle and other prizes that you all bought tickets for go a long way towards the funds of the club each year so again a big thank you for joining in with the fun.
